And many more. There are books and t-shirts as well. And a blog that might not get updated much.

Bush's Last Day Countdown Clock

It's nice watching the seconds tick away, though a bit disheartening seeing the number of days.

Cocktail of the Week - Tequila Fizz

Tequila Fizz, originally uploaded by Experiment 33.

This is like a really good slightly mellow margarita with a little fiz. Notice the lime twists. I picked up how to do that from Mr. Martini at Behind the bar show . He does an entertaining and informative blog and podcast and he did one video cast where I picked up the twists.

Cheers!

I Rock and I have Independent Data to Back it Up

does it suck?
I rock harder than boingboing and flickr!
irock
Fun little infographic toy. You put in your search terms and it creates a ratio of positive to negative references to your term and normalizes it to 10. What a surprise that I rock arder than my favorite places. I knew I would rock harder than Bush, but I was surprised that Cheney rocked harder than bush, so I tried entering their whole names. Apparently they suck equally. Bush on it's own is lower, could it be due to pr0n sites being anti a different kind of bush?

Been geeking around on flickr alot lately. I'm currently most amused with this group committed to sharing warning signs from all over the world. Many have great comments. Here are a few recent one's that caught my eye.

'Psychology Of Evil' Prof's Last Stanford Lecture blasts the President

cbs5.com - 'Psychology Of Evil' Prof's Last Stanford Lecture
"Individual military personnel those who stripped prisoners and leashed them like dogs are only as culpable as the people who created the overall environment in which the soldiers operated, Zimbardo told undergraduates enrolled in Introductory Psychology."

Way to go out swinging.

Dade cops' new beat: MySpace - 03/05/2007 - MiamiHerald.com
If I'd found this on myspace itself I'd have thought it was a joke. But it's for real, the Miami-Dade police department has started a myspace profile. I find it somewhat amusing that they used pimp-my-profile. com to make their page virtually unreadable. Something odd about seeing In God We Trust followed immediately by www.pimp-my-profile.com. There's a kernel of a good idea here, to give parents the option of allowing their kids to have myspace profile if they add the police department (the page is specifially monitored by the sexual crimes bureau). However, it seems like it's likely to give parents a false sense of security. Friends can't see private messages and instant messages and who knows how thoroughly the pd will screen comments and bulletins over time. Who will be the first to make the ironic Miami-Dade Police Department is in my Top 8 T-shirt?

Cocktail of the Week Returns - Cham 69

Cham 69, originally uploaded by Experiment 33.

After a hiatus coinciding with our move to Miami, the cocktail of the week returns and I'm going to do it the way I had always wanted to. I will make and photograph the cocktail each week. I've got a head start and if you want to look ahead feel free to follow the link into my flickr stream to see some cocktails that will be featured here in the future. Also follow the link to see the full recipe and notes.

Cheers!
