Just saw "The Notorious Bettie Page" at the Miami International Film Festival last night and it reminded me to search YouTube for vintage. Here is a result:


Speaking of the film fest, also saw Kinky Boots Sunday night. Kinky Boots is very Full Montyesque in story and feel. This time the set-up is about a men's shoe factory that saves itself from going out of business by finding their niche market in making kinky boots for drag queens. Very enjoyable with many laugh out loud moments. Some of the heavy parts of the story are a little overdone, and apparently people from the area didn't think it adequately addressed the problems of the area, but I don't think it's about the area overall. The Bettie Page flick was very authentic from what I know of the story. It looked great. There was a nice gimmick with black and white vs color photography based on where the film was shot. Also enjoyable, but not special.
