Improv Everywhere Mission: Even Better Than The Real Thing

Improv Everywhere Mission: Even Better Than The Real Thing

What happens when an improve comedy troupe can't get tickets to a U2 concert in NYC? They stage their own rooftop concert a la the "Where the Streets Have No Name" video, or the flatbed concert. This account is hilarious and detailed. It appears that the concert, performed a few hours before the Madison Square Garden show and within a few blocks, went off very well. Many believed in the ruse. Of course the cops shut the thing down, but only a few bars before they were done with their encore anyway. The pranksters face minor charges that will probably result in minimal fines later this month. Fantastic prank.
