10x10 / 100 Words and Pictures that Define the Time / by Jonathan J. Harris

I really thought that yahoo history link I posted below was a clever and visually interesting way to look at history. Well, it appears that it was developed from this site. 10x10 is a fully automated news scouring service that somehow analyzes key words and pictures in the news on the web and takes a snapshot each hour. Like the yahoo history, clicking on a picture brings up a little more information, plus links to the actual news stories. I could probably get lost in this thing for hours, especially since it self-updates every hour.
